I‘m an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist with a Doctorate in psychotherapy and training in a variety of approaches including couples/relationship therapy.
I have over twenty years experience working in the NHS and in private practice.
I have online video session’s available at the moment. For online sessions, you will need a reliable device with a camera/mic, and a quiet, private space to talk, where you won’t be interrupted.
I take an inclusive, non-pathologising view of gender and sexuality and appreciate the vast array of gender, sexual, and relationship diversities (GSRD).
When looking for a therapist, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable talking to the person, and feel you’ve been heard and understood. It’s also helpful to check a practitioner is registered or accredited with a professional body like the UKCP, BACP, BABCP, or IPTUK.
I am accredited with the UKCP and IPTUK.
I‘m interested in a range of different theoretical ideas and recognise the importance of evidence-based practice as well as practice-based evidence.
I work with adults 18+ either individually or couples. I offer sessions digitally (video) or in-person, or a combination of both.
I am a member of The Metanoia Institute, and registered with the HIPS section of UKCP. I am also accredited with IPTUK.
I have full professional registration with the UKCP and adhere to their professional code of ethics, as well as that of the UKCP Member organisation, Metanoia. I am also an accredited IPT therapist with IPTUK.
